Fresh-picked produce, handcrafted goods, and artisan foods from local makers — all under one canopy on the village green.
The Bainbridge Farm and Artisan Market has been a cornerstone of the village since its founding. What started as a small gathering of neighbors trading homegrown vegetables has grown into one of the region's most anticipated weekly events.
Every Saturday morning from May through October, more than 40 local farmers, bakers, artisans, and food makers set up shop along Prospect Street. Shoppers wander from stall to stall — selecting heirloom tomatoes still warm from the field, sampling wheels of cheese from nearby creameries, and discovering hand-thrown pottery and woven textiles.
This is more than a place to shop. It's where you learn the name of the person who grew your food, where children discover what a sunflower stem looks like before it reaches the grocery store, and where the rhythm of the seasons is written on every display table.
Every vendor at our market is a neighbor — a farmer, a baker, a brewer, an artist who shows up week after week to share what they make with their own hands.
Heirloom tomatoes, crisp apples, leafy greens, and everything the Central New York soil produces at its best.
Sourdough loaves, flaky croissants, and seasonal tarts — baked fresh each morning before the market opens.
Aged cheddars, soft goat cheeses, and fresh mozzarella from regional creameries you won't find anywhere else.
Raw wildflower honey, small-batch jam, maple syrup, and hot sauce — all made in small quantities with care.
Pottery, candles, woven textiles, jewelry, and home decor — each piece made by the person selling it right there.
Hot entrees, fresh-squeezed juices, specialty coffee, and seasonal drinks — perfect for a Saturday morning lunch.
Street parking available on Prospect St and surrounding roads
